Where does the retailer data in Pour Now come from?

TL;DR. Pour Now ingests the product catalogs directly from e-com-enabled retailers. So we see what shoppers see: your products on retailers' websites, and we refresh the data daily, so your shoppers don't hit dead ends.

Where the data comes from

Pour Now builds its picture of the market from retailers' own digital shelves, the product pages and availability on their websites, and refreshes it daily so it reflects what a shopper would find right now. A matching engine, guided by our taxonomy team, connects those retailer listings to your products so your Listings and Analytics show the right stores and the right items.

Why it works this way

Because Pour Now looks at the shelf the way a shopper does, it only routes people to places they can actually buy your product, in stock, at a real retailer. That same view is what powers your coverage insights and your digital shelf reports.

How to add coverage

  • Upload your account-sold data. If you don't see the coverage you expect, email us the names and addresses of the retailers where you're sold, and we add those retailers to our ingestion queue.
  • Add the Get Listed link to your Listings. Retailers who don't appear in a given area can request to be added. Add this within the Listing editor under "Visibility Options".

What to expect

When it's working: the retailers a shopper can actually buy from show up in your Listings, and your digital shelf reports reflect what is live today. Coverage keeps growing as we ingest more retailers.

If a retailer you expect is missing: see "Why don't I see a retailer I expect?" for the usual reasons and what to do.
