How do I customize the look of a Listing?
TL;DR. Every element of a Listing is customizable. Your brand styles apply to new Listings automatically, but you can change anything in an individual Listing using the Listing editor: fonts, colors, images, styling, and visibility options like hiding the logo, showing a product description, and more. You can also move where the modality list sits and, in Advanced Settings, reorder the buy options. Make each Listing exactly what that campaign needs.
What you can change
A Listing is the shoppable page or embed where shoppers see retailers and buy. Its look is fully yours. When you create a new Listing, your brand styles apply automatically, so it is on-brand from the start. From there, nothing is locked. You can tune a single Listing to fit a specific campaign, product, or channel without touching your other Listings.
Why you would customize one Listing
Different jobs call for a different look. A Listing behind a paid holiday campaign might need seasonal imagery and a tighter focus, while your everyday website Listing stays classic. Because each Listing routes shoppers to in-stock retailers either way, you are free to change the styling for the moment without changing what the Listing does: get your shopper to a purchase.
How to customize a Listing
- Open Listings and find the Listing you want to change.
- Click the three dots icon (⋯) on that Listing and choose Edit.
- In the Listing editor, adjust any of the following:
- Fonts, colors, and styling to match the campaign or keep it fully on-brand.
- Images for the Listing, including product media and hero content.
- Visibility options. Hide the logo, show a product description, or add a Get Listed Link so retailers who are not listed can ask to be added.
- Retailer list position. Move where the list of retailers is located within the Listing.
- For the order of the buy options a shopper sees, open Advanced Settings and reorder the modalities. A modality is a way a shopper can buy, such as Nearby, Curbside Pickup, or Great Price. See "Reorder the buy options in a Listing" for the details.
- Save. Your changes apply to this Listing only.
What to expect
When it's working: the Listing preview updates to show your changes. Styling changes never change where a shopper can buy, only how the page looks getting them there.
If something's off:
- A change did not stick: make sure you saved in the Listing editor, then refresh the preview.
- New brand style changes are not showing on this Listing: brand styles apply automatically to new Listings, not retroactively to existing ones. Update this Listing's styling directly in the editor, or see "Your brand styles, every Listing."
- You want the same change on every Listing going forward: set it in your brand styles so new Listings pick it up, then edit existing Listings individually.
