Can Pour Now help my on-premise business?

TL;DR. Pour Now is built for the off-premise path to purchase, where shoppers buy. There is no direct on-premise path today because very few people choose a restaurant or bar based on a product. They select the restaurant based on the food they want to eat, or the bar based on the experience they want to have. Using Pour Now can help build the brand momentum that supports on-premise: driving retail velocity where you have retailer clusters, and using first-party data to market experiences to real customers. More on-premise support is on our roadmap for 2027. Off-premise velocity is your on-premise tailwind.

The honest picture

Pour Now routes shoppers to places they can buy your product, which today means off-premise retailers with an online path to purchase. On-premise is different. A shopper does not choose a restaurant because of a single beverage, so there is no "where to buy" path that ends in a purchase. That does not mean Pour Now is idle for your on-premise goals.

What actually helps on-premise

Drive velocity where you have retailer clusters. Where you have a cluster of retailers in a geography or a set of accounts, push demand through those markets. A product on a restaurant list converts far better when the guest has already tasted the brand or recognizes the name. By creating purchase activity in a market, you make the brand familiar, and familiarity is what earns the halo lift on-premise.

Collect first-party data and market the experience. Use pop-ups or rebates to collect first-party data from shoppers who choose to shop on your website, then market to those customers by email or social about great places to enjoy your brand, like a dinner out. You turn a retail buyer into someone who seeks the brand on a menu.

A quick compliance note

On-premise and trade marketing run into tied-house laws, which limit how a supplier can support or promote specific retail and on-premise accounts, and the rules vary by state and change over time. Before you run promotions that point consumers to specific restaurants or bars, check your situation with your compliance resource.

What is coming

We plan to help more with on-premise in 2027, mostly through insights from ingesting menus. That will give you a clearer read on where your brand is sold in the market. For now, the strongest play is using off-premise velocity and first-party data to build the recognition that carries into on-premise.
