Are you going to add marketplaces to Pour Now?

We do not bring in any marketplaces into the platform for a myriad of reasons, but here are the top two:

  1. Our retailer community (to a tee) is revolting against services (and brands) that drive consumers to marketplaces because they lose margin and the potential LTV of the customer. 
  2. Moreover, we want to allow brands to buy customers from marketplaces, but we don't want to be the vehicle that delivers customers to marketplaces that then sell them to your competitors or back to you. 

This gives brands like you two things - 

  1. A fantastic narrative for retailers: you support them better by delivering unencumbered sales directly to them, enabling full margin, and realizing the lifetime value of the customer. 
  2. Defense from marketplaces being parasitic to your brand, capturing your dollars only to sell your customers to your competitors (or back to you at a premium). 

That being said, brands that choose to continue to drive customers to marketplaces can easily put the URLs above or below our embedded listings.
